Digital Trends points out that the difference between the Galaxy J5 and J7 is in terms of display size, processor and battery. The J5 is configured with a 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) 5-inch display, a 64-bit quad-core Opteron 410 processor, and a 2600 mAh battery; the J7 configuration is slightly higher, including a resolution of 720p. Digital Trends said that the price of the two phones is quite reasonable. The price of J5 is RMB 1398 and J7 is RMB 1798.

J5 and J7 may be Samsung's first mobile phones with front LED fill lights, but other manufacturers have already introduced similar models, such as HTC Desire EYE, Sony Xperia C4 and ASUS ZenFone Selfie.
