US business Nila LED lighting won the US government big order in 2010

California manufacturer Nila's LED lighting equipment first entered the Hollywood film lighting market, and in 2010 signed a $355,000 contract with the US government to bring LED lights into Capitol Hill.

In 2007, Nila founder Jim Sanfilippo sold the company's LED lighting equipment to the 007 series "Quantum Crisis" filmmakers and signed a $100,000 contract.

In 2010, Nila had only 6 employees. Not only did it have a factory in California, but there were more than 10 dealers and subsidiaries in the United States. The customers were all equipment leasing companies working with Hollywood filmmakers. Nila expects 2010 revenues of $1.5 million, three times the 2009 revenue, and 2011 revenues will reach $7.5 million.

Nila emphasizes that the company's energy efficiency is 75% higher than that of traditional halogen lamps, and the heat emitted by lighting is reduced by 80%, and the service life is 20 times that of traditional lighting. The unit price of the product starts at $1,600, which is twice that of traditional lighting.
