BBC Lab recruits AR-VR story creators globally

Whether it's collaboration with other companies or an internal organization such as BBC Reality Labs focused on creating VR and AR content, the BBC has been exploring the latest forms of entertainment. Now, BBC Worldwide Labs decided to move from a traditional enterprise accelerator to an innovative incubator looking for new ways to commercialize AR. As a result of this change, the BBC has officially opened applications to global companies (covering startups, small and medium-sized companies, and large corporations) to help ar games and entertainment. If you are interested in applying, please go to official website of BBC Worldwide Labs. BBC Worldwide Labs explained on the official website: “We want to work with dynamic and innovative companies to create and distribute a series of interesting and fascinating mixed reality products that connect branded users and their favorite characters and stories. At a minimum, it needs to be commercially viable, reflect the core principles of our brand, and provide interesting and engaging experiences that can extend the enjoyment of our brand to users. Other requirements include global distribution capabilities, ease of localization and multilingual support. To attract a wide audience, audiences of different ages, and to achieve existing AR technology leisure users, at the same time need to bring in-depth participation." If you haven't been exposed to the BBC's past immersive work, you may wish to experience the VR fairy tale "The Turning Forest" (support Google Daydream and Samsung Gear VR), or the historical VR film "Easter Rising: Voice of a Rebel" (support Oculus Rift And Gear VR).
