In order to strengthen the quality supervision and management of the eye protection lamps in the circulation industry, the Heilongjiang Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce commissioned relevant units to conduct quality inspections on eye protection lamps sold in some parts of the province recently. The results showed that nearly one third of the products were unqualified.
According to the staff of the Heilongjiang Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce, they commissioned the Heilongjiang Province Hardware and Electrical Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Station to conduct quality inspections on 39 batches of eye-protection lamps sold by 14 distributors in Harbin, Qiqihar and Daqing. The scope of inspection includes more than ten items such as the marking, structure, external wiring, internal wiring, protection against electric shock, moisture test, and heat resistance of eye protection lamps. The results showed that there were 27 batches of eye protection lamps qualified, the pass rate was 69%; unqualified 12 batches, the failure rate was 31%.
It is understood that the quality problems of eye protection lamps mainly focus on four aspects: First, the external wiring items are unqualified; second, the structural items are unqualified; thirdly, the heat-resistant items are unqualified; and fourth, the marking items are unqualified.
