September 8, 2016 - ImaginaTIon Technologies announced a partnership with Mymo Wireless and SaberTek to provide a complete LTE CAT1/0 end-to-end licensable silicon IP. This product provides a low-risk, cost-effective solution for the combined customers of the three companies and has been optimized for low data transfer applications, including asset tracking, fleet management, security monitoring, point of sale, health monitoring, and intelligence. By integrating LTE communication connectivity into SoCs with custom IP solutions from ImaginaTIon, Mymo and SaberTek, vendors developing networked IoT devices will benefit from cost, power, and time-to-market. This solution combines ImaginaTIon's low-power LTE baseband Ensigma Series5 RF Processing Unit (RPU), SaberTek's SBR7040 ultra-low-power LTE transceiver, and Mymo's interoperability and certification testing with the leading mobile communications manufacturer's labs in the US CAT1/0 LTE UE protocol and software. This integrated IP solution has been adopted by leading networked homes and IoT SoC vendors and built into its silicon products.
