China Mobile (00941.HK)'s new five-mode requirements for 4G custom machines made the industry chain seem a bit unprepared. And those small and medium-sized mobile phone manufacturers, in the environment of high cost and thin profit, should also carefully consider the rhythm to participate in market competition.

Recently, China Mobile updated the "White Paper for China Mobile Customized Terminal Products", clearly stating that since May 31, 2014, China Mobile will test all 4G customized mobile phones to support five-mode (TD-LTE/FDD-LTE/TD). -SCDMA/GSM/WCDMA).

At the end of last year, China Mobile gave a white paper to manufacturers that TD-LTE smart phones need to support GSM, TD-SCDMA, and TD-LTE three-mode.
