[High-tech LED News] Sapphire single crystal factory Yuefeng (8121) was affected by the decline in demand for sapphire single crystal of subsidiary Taiju Optoelectronics. The consolidated revenue from June was NT$258 million, down 8.13%. The cumulative Yuefeng Q2 consolidated revenue was NT$910 million, a quarterly decrease of 24.61%.
The market expects that Yuefeng Q2 EPS will be reduced from NT$2.73 to RMB1.5 in Q1, while Q3 continues to fall with the price of sapphire single crystal. With the continued decline in the price of sapphire substrates in July and the low willingness to collect goods downstream, the market revenue of Taiju Optoelectronics will continue to weaken in July. Yuefeng said that the passive component orders were stable in July, and the estimated monthly revenue was not much different from that in June.
