China and South Korea's big factory attack: Japan JDI is ready to break through the OLED battlefield

As early as the LCD era, Japanese companies can be said to be the leader. However, as OLEDs increasingly replaced LCDs as mainstream, Japanese manufacturers missed the opportunity. After Sharp was included by Hon Hai, the Japanese panel factory was essentially left with JDI and JOLED. How to catch up with the ticket of the OLED era has become a problem for Japanese panel makers.

The answer given by JDI is a strong alliance. Recently, JDI reported that it wants to acquire the equity of JOLED. JDI (Japan Display Co., Ltd.) is one of the world's largest manufacturers of small and medium-sized LCD panels. JOLED is an OLED panel developed by Sony, Panasonic, Japan Display Inc (JDI) and Japan's government and public fund "Industry Innovation Agency (INCJ)". The production company started operations on January 5, 2015. Among them, JDI focuses on high-definition LCD panel market for smart phones, cars and PCs, while JOLED specializes in large-size OLED panels of 20 inches or more.

Japan's Industrial Innovation Agency (INCJ), which holds a 75% stake in JOLED, plans to sell more than 35% of its JOLED shares to JDI, hoping to integrate its front-end panel technologies such as liquid crystal and OLED into JDI for integrated operation. Against panel competitors in Taiwan, South Korea, and China.

JDI prepares to break through the OLED battlefield

From a JDI perspective, this is a major asset restructuring of the company following the merger of Hitachi, Toshiba and Sony's panel business in 2012. JDI will take the smart phone and car LCD panel as well as the TV OLED panel as the main development direction in the future. In April of this year, JDI's plan to acquire JOLED began to spread. However, JDI's main intention at the time was to acquire Sharp's panel division, but since Sharp finally went to Hon Hai, the backup solution was implemented today.

Residual Current Circuit Breaker

RCCB named Residual Current Circuit Breaker. When there is human electricity shock or if the leakage current of the line exceeds the prescribed value, Residual current circuit breaker/RCCB(without over-current protection) will cut off the power rapidly to protect human safety and prevent the accident due to the current leakage. The rccb switch which made from Korlen electric can be used as infrequent changeover of the line in normal situation.

Korlen electric ---- the rccb switch manufacturer, produces types of Residual Current Circuit Breaker. It is applicable to industrial site, commercial site, tall building and civil house.
